Landscape after Post Production
Photo Editing techniques for the Landscape
For this Photograph, I found that Sky is too bright and when I look at this photograph my mind says, Forest should look greener and there should be clouds in the sky with yellow, orange lights in the sky as during sunrise. I feel that there should be a reflection of the sky in the lake water. So, that’s what I did.

Summary of post-production steps
- I Edited this image in Photoshop. In Camera Raw filter. By correcting, exposure, contrast, Whites, blacks and shadows I corrected forest. Increases its clarity
- When you have to replace the sky just focus on your primary objective for me its forest here
- I have Shifted Hue from Yellow towards green and Cyan hue too from cyan towards green
- Adjusted Saturation and luminance to Give perfect green forest
- Increased Warmth of Image by shifting temperature towards Yellow
- I have downloaded a Sky from Pixabay.com with clouds and yellow-orange lightings, Duplicate image, flip it vertically and merge with the sky so that Sky and Water reflection remain in sync. Now place this image on my landscape photography and set it mode to Multiple.
- Using Mask on sky layer, remove sky from the forest
- Select Water reflection and Gaussian blur it to 25.0 Radius
- Now add Gradient maps of Yellow and Blue color. change its mode to Soft light and reduce the opacity to 20
